This event features a variety of brunch items, arranged on the floor to depict an aerial view of one of Chicago's industrial landscapes. Industry is fully imbedded in the history of Chicago, but rarely does it confront us in our contemporary personal space. This brunch aims to close the gap between the realm of the domestic sphere and our collective decisions on an industrial scale. Cinnamon buns are transformed into holding tanks, banana bread becomes warehouses, and coffee cake turns into factories. Viewers are invited to participate in the indulgence of tasty breakfast treats, and eat the landscape away.
